The @trize/semple SDK provides a type-safe, ergonomic wrapper around the Semple API. It is the recommended way to interact with your dynamic modules from Node.js, Edge functions, or the browser.
1

Install the package

Install the SDK using your preferred Node.js package manager. The package includes built-in TypeScript definitions.
2

Obtain an API Key

To authenticate your requests, you need a Secret API Key.
  1. Log into your Semple Dashboard and select your Workspace.
  2. In the left sidebar, navigate to the Developers (or API Keys) section.
  3. Click the Generate API Key button.
  4. Copy the generated key. It will always start with the prefix smpl_sk_.
  5. Store the key securely in your server’s .env file or environment variables.
Never commit your smpl_sk_... keys to version control or expose them in client-side code where untrusted users can access them.
3

Initialize the client

Import the client and instantiate it using your API key. We strongly recommend using environment variables. Note that the constructor takes the API key string directly.
